I started listening to Tool at 14, and at first I took their songs/lyrics at face value, but as I learned more about them, I learned you can NEVER do that. I’m 16 now and I do “soak it in” as you say.

All I’m saying is that peace is a relative term. This world was born out of Chaos and will end in Chaos. People will bicker with other people, because each of them thinks they are right. We have fought over religion, greed, or just wanting power. It’s human nature to look after oneself. Like I said, the world will end in Chaos.
