I been having the same problem?..what i do is pause before the fmv to get ready..as soon as the fmv shows i open the disc tray…(if you try to open the disc tray before the fmv shows it will freeze)…wait about a second then start closing it and just right before it closes hold in the pause button…if you get this down pat(it may take a couple of tries) the fmv should skip leaving you with a paused black screen…which actually saves you 10-15 seconds after the fmv..

You didn’t get the Potion, Flan Card, or the 27 gil in the bar, and you also didn’t get the 3 cards (Ironite Card, Fang Card, & Goblin Card) that Hippaul hid in the bell.

Ive looked everywhere and still nothing on the fmv skipping. Ive trialed and errored it but my disc just stops and wont load again. pleaseee help

with the fmv skip, if u close the lid too softly on the ps1 it freezes your game

ahhhh thanks a lot bud. i will definately try that. ive been using the louis videos so im doing good regardless, ahead of his time by 2minutes so far but im not that far in. jsut stuck at the stupid plant brain part because after like 30 tries i cant get 2 plants after the boss fight D:. ill check out the fmv skip tho, appreciate it.

aabenet23…cont from my comment above(why is it up there?)…anyways.you should skip most of the fmv’s but if you miss some dont worry ..this can be done by without skipping fmv’s..check out rlouisw’s videos..just type in ff9pgwsf in the search bar
