I also have issues with ford mustang. I posted my question on wish123 and got an answer from an expert who solved my problem. Highly recommend the website.
References :
well if you have the 4.100 you might not have enough power for the sub, the PDX amp will work with the component speakers, and then u will have 2 channels left to power the sub, that could be a challenge to wire especially if you haven't wired anything before in the past, you probably want help via friend or professional. I would get an Alpine type r sub, if you want just one sub get the 1242D which is a 12 inch dual 4 ohm sub, which is DVC (dual voice coil) if you want two, get 2 1222D which is a dual 2 ohm. but i would recommend getting the PDX-5 which has 4 channels for speakers and one channel for one sub, that's if your gonna get only one, and it leaves 2 channels open for future use like upgrading another set of speakers say you have front spears now u want to upgrade the back and Your set, no new amp. its a good deal with that amp.
References :
my system
Alpine ida-x305
Alpine MRP-M1000
2 12'' Alpine type R's
gonna get the MRP-F300
components for front, coxial for rear.
