I’m Playing on the first Xbox and every game i put inside it seems to keep saying
"there is a problem with the disk you are using may be dirty or damaged"
I assure u the games I ‘m using are practically perfect at the bottom and aren’t damaged i take good care of my games. Why do i keep getting this error message though? Does my xbox need to be cleaned or something? Like the lens?
I would say YES clean the machine and if that does not solve it I would look on E-bay for a new drive for your xbox. as for cleaning it you should be able to use any CD player cleaning disk.

i would send it in wih some games they are just corrupted and there is squat you can do for them (original Morrowind for example) but it sounds like the laser is not focusing correctly on the disc to read it. sending it in may be a little time consuming and possibly expensive if you are past your warranty but it should be the best possible fix for your problem
