I’ll tell ya what after you do a caulking job yourself and your windows are still leaking you can give me a call and I’ll give you a number for somebody that can rip out your drywall, vapor barrier and insulation so the mold can be cleaned up (by a professional of course) then when you’ve spent thousands on that you can give me a call to come and seal up your windows and doors (professionally of course) so your $6 tube of caulking job doesn’t turn into another couple grand

Time to walk that insecurity eh? This is for everyone that is not a professional installer and who want essentially WYSIWYG results. Its a demonstration so the time lapse is of no consequence. And no matter how you spin it a clean line is a clean line, boasting aside . I’d take the help of this guy any day and do it myself over someone who cops an attitude for cash.

Hey, just wanted to say I watched your video yesterday and re-caulked my tub, toilet and sink in my bathroom today…I can’t say how great the masking tape trick worked…It worked so good in fact I used the same trick to caulk my brand new garage door that was installed last week between the capping and vinyl siding..Came out perfect..Great video and great advice with the tape..Will use the tape everytime with every project now..Thanks again!

great advise, technique, and finish!. I did not remove the masking tape and it turned into a disaster. Had to strip it all off. Tried it again, this time did not use silicone caulking in the bathroom and it too was horrible. Now after seeing your video, I’m ready to do it right this third time!
