this unit only is ...
this unit only is designed to go in front of the amp however if your not using the drive on it you could use it in the loop,

you could use your other od's in front of the nova system and then go straight into a clean amp,

if you are wanting to use the amps lead channel then the Line 6 M13 allows you to put the modulations and delays through the loop and use all of the od sounds on the unit in front of the amp.

do you run this on ...
do you run this on the effects loop or just infront of the amp? this may be an issue for me cause i would use od stuff infront and the other effects like delay or modulation on the loop, or are you able to run this unit separately like im saying (some effects on the loop and other infront of the amp)?

hey thanks for the ...
hey thanks for the review. i've read somewhere that there's a delay of about half a second after kicking a switch before the system actually changes the preset. and that, simultaneously, there's also a slight increase in volume which then decreases again. is this true? half a second for switching is long, especially for live use.
best & thanks

There is no delay ...
There is no delay in switching presets and no volume changes (unless your using the boost function), we have had several customers who use this unit live with no issues at all.
