I have a 2000 mitsubishi galant that does not sound too great right now because it is just the stock speaker system. There is a little distortion in the speakers so they are not 100% clear. What kind of components should I get to make my system sound clear, loud and a good amount of bass. I want a perfect sounding system. It doesn’t have to be so loud that the whole damn street can hear me coming but I want it to sound good. What do I need to get to accomplish this? If you can’t tell I have never dealt with this type of stuff. I have about $500-$600 to spend.

well if you have a factory deck that’s where you put the cd in thats where you would have to start purchase an after market deck you can find them at any car audio store that will cost you about $120 depending on the complexity of installing it and who dose it the installation will run u approx about $100 to $150 that will make it sound a little better if your still getting alot of distortion u might have a blown speaker that would b the next step changing your speakers normally you have 2 door speaker u can pick the set up any where from $60 to $120 depending on what you go with and the back speakers any where from $90 to $150 once you have all that u will notice a massive difference to get more bass you would have to get a subwoofer depending on how much bass u want u can go with 8" up to 18" ur gonna need an amp to power the sub your gonna need it installed professionally because its a Farly complex process
