  • Why does Ubuntu have so many obvious bugs?

Posted by admin on February 17th, 2010 and filed under greater perfect system | 2 Comments »

Ubuntu is a great operating system and I dont expect it to be perfect.. But I have found so many major bugs in Ubuntu almost every day. I mean windows and macs (especially windows) have numerous bugs but seems like ubuntu has 3x as many. For ex. it has had a Firefox sound bug for quite some time now which hasnt been fixed, and sometimes my windows start looking weird. why dont they fix them already….

Well ubuntu was made very quickly because windows stared with 95 all they had to do was update to 98 then 2000 then me then xp then vista it was all done over time!

It is the same with mac i mean the first mac that ever came out was not very good!

and this is the first thing Linux has every made so its not going to be perfect but in years to come it will just be like mac and windows!

Which revision and code level of Ubuntu are you talking about? Have you reported any of the bugs to the user community? Ubuntu is a user supported operating system, which means the users improve it through feedback and development. Have you sent your question in to the community forums?

No one can really give you a specific answer if you ask general questions.

ps. Firefox is not developed by Ubuntu
