  • DAD NEEDS HELP AGAIN! Prune Juice to a 6 Week Old?

Posted by admin on January 30th, 2010 and filed under perfect balance system | 4 Comments »

Ok, I want to keep my sons system in balance, and soy milk, will not do that. He will stay constipated. We have already switched him from regular milk nestle quick start, or something like that, to nestle soy powder. I know that formula mixed with water just creates a paste in the body, which will keep anyone plugged up. My question is, can i give me 6 week old prune juice diluted with water each morning, to rebalance the system and keep it flowing. If so, at this age, what is the perfect mixture? Should we do 1/1, or 1 of prune juice and 2 of water? 2/2? How much, and whats the perfect mixture.

I think 100% prune juice should be good for him.

Oh my goodness, no, I wouldn’t give him that. I think you should talk to your doctor – you don’t want to do anything that will store up problems for him in the future.

Please don’t do that. Talk to his pediatrician.

My daughter is now 1 month and 1 week and when she was about 3 weeks she was having the same constipation problem to where she would scream when she was trying to have a bowel moment , I spoke to her pediatrician and she told me that I could give her 1oz of prune juice diluted with 3 oz of water . The prune juice helped and she is going better now , I didn’t give it to her every day but every other day . But you can talk to his pediatrician and see what they say .
