Hello and thanks for your help ahead of time I appreciate it.
I drive a 2007 Cobalt SS which stock Pioneer audio system – its jsut not enough compared to what I had in my old truck. I am going to be replacing everything in side the car – tweeters, mids, subs, amp, and last head unit. Need some help.
I am going to be ordering 2 of 10” subs from this site.

I was wondering what size amp I need etc. trying to learn more and more about this stuff. since the car has a total is 2 tweeters, and 4 speakers with 2 subwoofers obviously this is a factor when it comes to choosing an amplifier. Anything you can throw at me would be perfect I will look into this further now.
Thank you !!
I would run 2 separate amps one for your subs and one for you mids and highs. As far as the subs go if you choose the dual 2ohm you can wire the voice coils in series and the speakers wired in parallel which would give you a 2ohm load. The Planet Audio BB2400.1 would be great for them.

to be as helpful as possible we’d need to know how much rms is coming from all of the different outputs. I personally would go the route of an amp for your subs and an amp for your speakers but personal choice and budget is gunna be up to you
