No collection is compete with out the Die hard collection and The bourne identity series. Waiting for the lethal weapon collection to come out. Transformer one and two looks great in high def. The dark knight is awesome, just love the high shots of the city and buildings. Initial D, great country and mountain seen. All Pixar movies look great. Kung fu panda just pops out if your samsung can run 120hz or more. My brother just got a pioneer elite blu ray player (bdp-23fd) yesterday, replacing the ps3 he was using and it just look and sound better.
References :
www.blu-ray.com has a vast collection of Blu-Ray reviews that include how great the audio, video and extras are on a scale from 1-5 including half star increments.

Star Trek, The Matrix Trilogy, Wall-E, The Departed and Fight Club are great, just to name a few.

By the way, 3 blu-rays out at a time for $20 from Netflix is a fantastic deal. It's so affordable, convenient, and user friendly I just can't stand it. Their collection is so vast, it makes me wonder how frustrated I'd be with my local blockbuster.
References :
Well - here is my favorites:

* Harry Potter series

* Pirates of the Caribbean Series

* The Dark Knight

* All the Pixar movies (Cars, Wall-E, Up, Ratatouille)

If you like fantastic nature images - the Planet Earth set is outstanding.

Below is a site where there are reviews which might help.
References :
http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/

Ya Transformers 2 is bad, borrow that one. I have District 9 & the computer generated graphics are sweet. Dark Knight is also a good choice. Consider animation like Wall-E. Great vibrant colors and good surround effects. Star Trek (the newest one) also has great cgi. And maybe if you like it, X-Men Origins. Great explosions. Have fun!
References :
I'm old n' cranky!
