What would be the perfect criminal justice system?

If you had the chance to develop your own what would it be?

I like the system of the Hebrews in the days of Exodus. It was based on retribution to the victim. If you were caught stealing, then you compensated the victim three or four times the amount stolen. If you couldn’t pay then you were sold as a slave.

If you murdered someone, then you paid with your life unless the family of the murdered one had mercy. Of course all judgments were based on trials.

The system was great but it depended on honest judges. Later, when the judges were corrupted there was less than perfect justice. However, that was not the fault of the system.

It would be better defended, and to be honest, I would let less people on tourism to stop the cause of terrorist attacks.

The first thing I would do is remove all poltics from lawmaking. There are far too many laws in the criminal justice system that should not be there. Many are civil matters, that have been placed in the criminal system, simply because the people or companies have much money and influence to have them deemed as laws. And they get more satisfaction And criminal convictions are not always the right ones. By that I mean, sometimes they need someone to be held accountable for a crime and they could care less if it is the right one or not. THere is little justice in many criminal rulings.

The perfect system could be achieved. However, it would require going back and restructuring the whole American foundation because Business and Religion has destroyed this country. The first thing that would need to be done is, "computer rise" the legal system; replace human judges with A.I. computers, make the role of human judges that of making sure every letter of the law was applied to each and every case. However, human judges should not be allowed to rule on any particular case, as all cases before the courts (no matter how big or small) must be heard and decided upon by a jury.

Ban organized religion, and demand absolute honest from business and government and the system will work properly.
