tonite we put my new SMD woofers into the Tahoe. Took the old BTL’s out. They are still in perfect condition after a year and a half! Time for the test drive of the new SMD’s though! 6600 Watts on each one! THere are 2 Rockford Fosgate T2500.1bd amps on each woofer (one per coil) and all my amps benched between 3250 and 3400watts each (1ohm, 14.4v) . Woofers are dual .7′s and i am @ 15.5vdc so you do the math -

12 inch Infinity Kappa Subwoofers

Here is my updated setup. Two twelve inch Infinity 122.7 subwoofers, two 6 1/2 Infinity Kappa speakers, two 6×9 Infinity Kappas all three way. The system sounds good but is more for sound quality than SPL. The system sounds great but I wish it was a bit louder I guess. All in all I like it. I am using an Infinity 7541a for the components, and an Infinity 1211a mono amp running at 1200rms 2ohms for the subs. I am using a 1.7 Farad cap and and optima yellow top battery. I still get dimming though? Maybe the cap is junk or isnt big enough? Anyway, comments, sugestions? Also, the sub enclosures are sealed. If you run these subs sealed you need at least 1200W RMS or more. I am running that between the two of mine an they do not even get warm. Songs are by Lil John, Throw it up and What U Gonna Do?

I thought that ‘The Perfect High’ by The Qemists’ (It’s on their new album ‘Join The Q’) was such a great tune that I decided to make a video for it. The video shows gameplay from Crysis: Warhead with the resolution 1920×1080(couldn’t choose this resolution when putting the video together though) and everything set to high settings.
