Bass Test – Demanding tracks for your system [Bass Test] 2

Posted by admin on December 12th, 2009 and filed under a perfect system | 16 Comments »

Please don’t expect any responses until the end of April as I am currently on a round the world trip.

Make sure not to turn up the volume too high on this one because it gets very busy in some areas and is generally recorded at a louder level than all of my other videos.

I tried a different tone generator this time which didn’t seem to have a volume adjust control, so there is some slight clicking at the most difficult point.

    RAPIDSHARE DOWNLOAD:
I have merged both the bass tests together and uploaded the file as a sound file only, which is in .wav format. I’ve fiddled around with a couple of the sound settings and tried to level out some areas as they were considerably louder or quieter than other parts of the video. Hopefully the final version should come out in near perfect quality, but let me know if there’s any overwhelming distortion.

Both SVC (single voice coil) infinity series subwoofers were “bass – less” when we found them -. Pushin 1000 watts & Blowing woofers has never been so fun on a pdx alpine amp :D Alpine pdx-1.1000 – As for the woofers – we re-coned the subs, and re-built them to work. 2 12 inch Single Voice Coils 4 Ohm subs…. We did not use any high quality, comp products in good condition. That’s why I felt fine to blow them up to knockout flame smoking explosion :D The explosion was huge & louder than I expected. It was frying them guys !! No kidding, litterally cooking them and melting them fried. The best part was the flaming crazy flex from that paul wall track, you know, that really loud bass song, with that really good deep sounding bass line, really did the wicked cool exploding trick! – It was awesome, and it was insane that when it caught on fire the smoke & fire didn’t spread lol. They sure were smoked. No largest world record here, just a nice fun night. All time fun – all time bass Thought I’d share it.

That’s Orion. the coolest car audio aroung! Who knew 2 12 inch subwoofers could hit be so hard hitting! Cheap car audio isn’t always bad. This shit’s insane loud, and awesome. The loudest high performance car stereo systems ever : yet perfect for sound quality installs! SPL here we come! =) For the best, deepest subwoofer tunes, and power tracks, watch my cool Top 100 songs video with a lot of bass ! Do you love playing heart wreching , eye popping, earth shattering, teeth rattling, bass. Will only the best hard hitting, window breaking, house shaking, subwoofer flexing, songs do? Well You definately came to a good place. Some of these songs I played for this water trick effect are so low , and so loud you can hardly hear the bass. It’s subsonic. I had to get crazy deep, wicked sexy low bass tracks because the windows will flex way better, and vibrate car alarms, shake windows, pop out eyes lol…Steve poped a ladies out with HAHA!…. Just a little soap suds science experiment =) Most of these were bass songs I made myself, or played biggest from CD’s I own. The are best played on inane car stereo systems like 4 18’s, or 4 15’s…I’m creative. I can’t wait to get my next high performance audio set up. like 10,000 rms. I’m not saying I’m louder than steve meade, or anything.. but I am going to have a wall of subs facing the driver. It’s going to be the loudest sound system in maine. I hope to be able to hit term-lab numbers in the high 150’s. db drag will help with practice, and bass race for accuracy. I can’t wait! I want the complete loudest car stereo system in the world! NESPL ! Insane! Budget Brand Speakers Rock Too! Leave the DD DC fi SSA Incriminator aescendant to the rick guys lol

    1000watt JVC TH-M505 5.1 Home Theater(Louie Bag-Bloodraw)

Posted by admin on September 24th, 2009 and filed under perfect home theater system | 5 Comments »

This is a video showing abilitys of our JVC TH-M505 Digital Home Theater System playing my favorite song Louie Bag by Bloodraw. I have found that this system is perfect for playing any type of music, including my bass heavy songs; and I’m not easily impressed when it comes to bass. The system does not give window shaking; thunder sounding bass but it definitely will send an obvious rumble through the house. We also use it for surround sound when I play my xbox 360, like in this video, and for sound when watching TV because the sound quality of our TV is 0. Incase you are interested, that is a 720p 50″ Samsung plasma TV (model HP-T5054) which is a VERY nice TV minus the poor sound quality.

    System Power Specifications:
    -5.1 surround sound
-140 watts per channel at 4 ohms
    -155 watt 10″ Powered subwoofer
-*Total system power = 1000 watts*
-System amplifier built in to the subwoofer
-All speakers connect to the back of the sub

*I’m pretty sure that does not include power loss due to resistance so its more like 855 watts and up.

General abuse of my sound system (1)

Posted by admin on September 18th, 2009 and filed under the perfect car audio system | 25 Comments »

These are just some clips of my system performing at about 85%, except for the last clip. The camera/microphone puts up with the volume very well but it’s not perfect, and can’t decipher very low bass (below 45hz). In the last clip, there seems to be large amounts of distortion or points where the sound is cutting out a little due to over whelming volume, but this is actually the nature of the track itself.

Most of the tracks from any of my videos can or will soon be found in my Youtube channel, so have a look if you want to hear the tracks again.

As I get asked these questions a lot, I’ll give you a quick summary to save some comment spaces. Feel free to ask questions though, but if you ask one that’s already been answered here and I have to refer you, please bang your head against the nearest available desk, door or wall.

    Thanks. MFX150

    System Summary:

    * Watts RMS (including active subs) = 1550 (speakers) 1300 (amplifiers)

[MFX150 NOTE: That may look low to some car audio enthusiasts, but I can assure you I get a lot more satisfaction from this system than my car's system, not to mention astounding SQ. I only have one Kicker Solo Baric 15" L7 in my car, but it is leagues below my other gear]

    * Speaker Sizes = Four 1″ tweeter, Eight 6″ bass/mid bass, Four 7″ bass, Two 12″ Sub bass.

    * Frequency response = +/- 3db 30Khz – 32hz (speakers)
    +/- 6db 100hz – 14hz (subs)

    * System weight (speakers, subs and amps): 175kg

    * Sound system value, as new RRP prices: £7000-£7500 ($14000-$15000 USD)

    **MAKE & MODELS OF EQUIPMENT:

    *SPEAKERS = Monitor Audio (S10 & S8)
    *SUB WOOFERS = REL (q400e)
    *AMPLIFIERS = Musical Fidelity (X-150) & Audiolab (8000A)
